Linus: Unlocking biomarkers hidden in hair

N.J.-based company uses metabolites in hair strands to track biological responses to environmental exposures over time

Linus analyzes molecular patterns inside the shafts of human hairs, which contain a chronological record of exposure to various substances over time, to identify new biomarkers. The company launched its first diagnostic aid, for autism spectrum disorder, on Thursday.
