BioCentury Connectors give you direct access to BioCentury's biopharma insights and analysis inside your AI conversations. This prompt library is designed to help you get the most out of that connection — with sample prompts to illustrate different ways of architecting questions.

How to use this library: Browse by use case and copy any prompt directly into your AI chat tool. Replace bracketed placeholders — such as [Company Name] or [Therapeutic Area] — with your own details.

How prompts work with BioCentury Connectors

Prompts are the instructions you give your AI assistant. When a BioCentury Connector is active, your assistant draws on BioCentury's proprietary content — including articles, analysis, and editorial commentary — to answer your question.

To make sure your assistant uses BioCentury as its source, include a phrase like "using BioCentury analysis" or "based on BioCentury coverage" in your prompt. This anchors the response to BioCentury's verified content rather than your AI assistant's general knowledge.

A few things to note:

Be specific: Include company names, drug names, targets, or indications when you have them.
Set a time horizon: Adding "in the past 12 months" or "since 2023" helps Claude prioritize the most relevant coverage. Giving exact dates or time frames is best.
Ask for a format: Request a summary, table, bulleted list, or timeline to get output in the shape you need.
Follow up: Claude retains context within a conversation, so you can drill down without re-explaining the background.
Some prompts take time: Complex prompts may require your assistant to work through several steps. You can usually switch to another tab and return when it's done.
